I have used this provider for more than 6 months

My 2 children have been enrolled at Williamsburg for over a year now and we are VERY HAPPY with this childcare center--it's wonderful! Our children have learned so much! The teachers are great! They do all kinds of fun things--out children don't want to leave at the end of the day! If you're looking for a great childcare experience for YOU and your kid(s), I highly recommend Williamsburg!

Williamsburg Village Child Development Center in Lincoln, NE is a WONDERFUL childcare center!!! Interesting...I just read someone's review that seemed a bit negative. We've had our 2 children at Williamsburg for several years (both kids started at Williamsburg when they were 6 weeks old and they're now in the school age and preschool classrooms). We couldn't be happier with this center! Apparently the negative person hadn't been there long enough to really discover what a GREAT place Williamsburg is! Many of the teachers have been there for 10+ years (and are slightly older--they're wonderful!). The teachers my children have had in the preschool and pre-kind classes could be teaching at Lincoln Public Schools (and used to do so!). We're very happy with this center and HIGHLY recommend Williamsburg to others!

We love Williamsburg! We've had our 2 children at an in-home (1st bad experience), then at a different center (2nd bad experience) before we found Williamsburg, so I feel like we have some first hand knowledge and experience to make some comparison. We have been very happy with the teachers, who are excellent and highly qualified, many have degrees in early childhood education. You can tell that they really like children. Our children LOVE it there and are always happy and well cared for. The teachers make learning fun. The owners are also great. We're very happy to be at Williamsburg!

I have used this provider for less than 6 months

Not sure about what happened with the other reviewers, but my husband and I have had a wonderful experience at Williamsburg Village CDC so far with our infant! The owners and managers know us by name and know our daughter out of the 80? children that go there. They always take the time to talk to us and often are helping the teachers carrying around a child or two. The infant teachers so far have been outstanding, caring, and knowledgeable. Our little one is always happy to see them in the morning. The facilities are a little older, but the new playground is awesome and there are a lot of bonuses, such as a basement (which came in handy during a tornado warning earlier this year!). Many of the teachers are younger and may need a little more direction on how to "educate" the younger children, but generally, we've been very pleased with WVCDC!

I Agree this is a Horrible place. The so called owner talks bad on others who are not fortunate like her and her husband . She claim her staff is highly qualified. Wrong. Most of them do not know how to be a teacher to so called TEACH the children. This is not a HIGH QUALITY DAYCARE. False advertising. News flash YOUR daycare is worse then the lower class daycare's that are here in town. Do not take you children here.

Horrible Child Care

Williamsburg is not a place that parents should take their children. The owners worry about profit versus providing actual CARE for the children. Also, the ratio per child to staff is never truly legal. Stear clear.

Common questions

The answers people ask us for most often.

How do I contact a provider I found here?

In most cases the provider’s direct number is included in their listing. When it is not, we list the number of the Child Care Licensing Program — you may call that number for more information, or search for the provider online.

Will ChildcareCenter pass a message on to a provider for me?

I run a daycare — how do I correct or remove my listing?

Use suggest an update on your listing to correct any detail, or claim the listing to manage it yourself. If you have closed or no longer provide care, contact us and we will update the listing to show that.
