Love the village!!. My only con is I don't love having to pay for afterschool care when schools not in session (ie holidays, teacher planning days) but the staff is very polite. Fees are reasonable with any other provider. Staff always checks on identification before releasing your children.
( that sounded like a hostage situation, but I assure you we have had afterschool care providers not even check on id's or know who our son was when we would pick him up)
My son is in the fourth grade and still has a blast hanging with other kids after school.
