CPEEC is a pre-school for one, two, three and four year olds. The Center is the first step in the Catholic School system in St. Augustine. Cathedral Parish Early Education teachers develop their lesson plans around the Links to Literacy curriculum. Our goals are that each child will: Develop an ability to communicate effectively with teachers and classmates. Develop understandings, attitudes and skills appropriate for the child's particular age. Develop a growing concept of the relationship of numbers, time, space and form. Develop an awareness of music, an appreciation of sounds and rhythm, and an ability to participate in some form of musical expression. Grow in assuming personal responsibility for self and others. Experience the loving care of adults, whose own lives exemplify commitment to the Christian community.
