I have used this provider for more than 6 months

All my children (3) have gone here and I love them! Sandra and her staff are amazing my kids love them and want to go everyday. My older boys who are 6,5 beg to back on school days and school breaks. I have had my children enrolled there since the day opened six years ago. My youngest who is 3 goes full time and she is coming home telling all the fun activities they did at school! My kids are kids and have some behavioral issues but I was blown away at how well Sandra and her teachers handled these outbursts. I recommend them to everyone who is looking for childcare and wants a safe loving environment for the their children. My family and I consider the owner and staff of Curious Apples as a part of our family.

I was looking to place my 3 year old in a daycare/preschool setting a couple days a week for interaction with other kids and to learn to be in a structured setting. He was placed in a preschool class where he was the youngest of the children and I tried to voice my concerns that maybe it wasn't the right class for him but my concerns were brushed off and ignored. I never felt welcomed or wanted at this facility from day one. We were given what amounted to a 5 minute walk around but there was no formal "orientation". The director seemed preoccupied anytime I tried to speak to her and frankly I felt ignored. I did not receive any report on how my child was doing. I was called about my child having an outburst in class after he had swung his arms at his teacher when she tried redirecting him and he did not want to do as she said. 10 minutes later I was called because my child had thrown sand on the playground toward another child and I needed to come pick my child up. I had to miss an entire day of work to pick my child up when he was exhibiting normal 3 year old behaviors. I was then made to feel as if my child was "bad" and was told that none of the other children had ever acted in this way. Again, I felt like myself and my child were unwanted at this facility and I do not know a legitimate reason why. I informed if it is not working out that this would be his last day. I was not offered an option to stay and give him a chance to adapt to the new environment, again I felt as if they didn't want him there all along and was glad to see him go.

My husband and I have two foster children. Our 3 year old was kicked because of behaviors. He is 3 and threw a toy at a kid and threw a tantrum bc he didn't want to nap. We informed the facility of behaviors when signed up. Instead of say they couldn't handle him they terminated our contract. My husband informed them we would find another facility and gave a two week notice. My husband went to drop them off and they terminated our contract without informing us. My foster daughter stated, "they don't want us there." How dare they make two children feel that way especially since they have been through so much. I will not recommend this facility bc of how they handled this situation. The center for early learning coalition couldn't believe it.
