If I could give 0 stars I would, this place is very unprofessional in so many ways. I’ve witnessed teachers yelling at the baby’s to stop crying , the director treating her teachers like crap and belittling the kids. They have horrible communication skills and they are only there to take $$ from hard working parents who just want the best for their babies.
This institution and their administration is very unprofessional. The director of the school has very poor communication skills. She and the staff are unable to keep parents/caretakers abreast of what is taking place in the classroom. Their interest is solely that monetary compensation and every child is a expendable dollar sign. If the administrator doesn't like the parent they are kick out of the school. The educational components of this childcare institution are subpar. If you care for your child please take them somewhere else.
My grand daughter was kicked out the center because I had some question about a price for the t-shirt,AND A SAFETY issue about the door not being locked she had not even started the school yet.When I enter the building no one asked me my name or any thing.I just walked in.
I agree with above comments. I am not sure about the Stockbridge location but as for the Jonesboro location, there are a couple of good teachers, but for the most part the staff is non-engaging, rude and there are a bunch of teenagers who are not well trained. The Director is rude to children and parents I have observed this on occasions and they definitely continually make mistakes on billing and do get an attitude when you point this out, they seem to make up the rules as they go along. I would not recommend sending your child here.
VERY POOR! NO one should send their children there! Horrible teachers and directors. Very rude and unprofessional. They do not know how to properly interact with children or their parents. They are by far the worst daycare I have ever encountered! They also overcharged for their services and double dipped by charging CAPS and us and when confronted about the problem they were angry at me because I found out for myself they were overcharging. NEVER SEND YOUR CHILDREN HERE!!!
this facility has changed in so many ways not to long ago there was a teacher who would go out of her way to greet you with kindness.my child loved this tacher he wasnt even in her classroom she was kind and seemed to love her job.next thing we know she wain an accident that accured in the classroom we where told.im sorry to have seen her go she was a true loveing teacher this super teacher is truly missed where is this teacher now.
Applegate Academy and Preschool is THE best kept secret of Jonesboro, GA. My child has thrived tremendously since attending. She stared attending the school at 2 years old and is now 5 years old. The management staff is very invovled in making sure that your child recieves the love, nuturing and EDUCATION that they need to prepare them for primary school. The private Pre-K program is absolutely "STELLAR"; the kids are able to read, write and do basic math as well as have awesome social skills!!! I am thanking GOD everyday for Applegate Acedemy and Preschool!
They are a fairly new facility, nice and clean. They appear to be outstanding however wayyyyyyy too structured the toys are there for show the children don't even get to play with them. My child seemed sad every time I picked him up. They were always just sitting down not doing anything when I popped up at different times, no interacting or activities with the kids at all. The projects that were given to my 2 year old were not age appropriate. I am not trying to bash them but it was definitely not for my baby.
