Green Meadows Preschool, Inc.

Being an older mom and a first time mom I am very protective of my daughter. we had a family member lined up to watch her during the day. This person backed out 2 weeks before I was to return to work. I was in a crunch. I toured Green Meadows and liked it. I had 2 mothers see me on a tour and tell me how happy they were. I liked the key pad in the very front of the building for security. The classrooms are clean and the teachers seemed nice. She started at 7 weeks and is almost 2 now. I have to say I can't be happier. She loves it there and talks about her class every single day. The teachers are very knowledgable. There is a turnover that from time to time can be hard on my daughter but she always has her main teacher there. The ones that have left for other jobs or other class rooms still stay in touch and still want to know about my daughter. That is the kind of caring staff they hire. They check the rooms eery morning to make sure they are staffed properly and I personally have never seen less than 2 teachers for more than 4 students. The administration always has a smile and lets me know anything I should know about my daughter. They have parties and fun things for the kids to do as well. My daughter never ceases to amaze me with all that she learns from "school". This place wasn't where I thought my daughter would go, I didn't research as much as I could have as I didn't have long, but I can't see my daughter being anywhere else. It was a great decision for us. This is why I think they need a 5 star rating!

Green Meadows is home away from home for our daughter. It is a loving and safe environment for young children to learn and grow. In response to the review by "Trevor", the facility is not shiny and new, but has an organic and wholesome appeal that is not possible to find in the newly constructed daycare centers. Our daughter is almost 3 years and has been attending GMP since she was an infant. I couldn't ask for a more loving group of caregivers.

In my opinion, the facility looks like a fairytale from the outside,nightmare from the inside. Money spent on landscaping but childrens toys are broken,books torn.Classes filled to legal capacity with no assistant,stressing out both teacher and students.Students are forced to change into snow or mud boots 3 times a day for recess because there is no mulch on the playgrounds,but plenty out front!Very little grass...Swampland after the rain.Very high rate of teacher turnover dont expect your child to have stability. If your child is already at this facility open your eyes!
