I have seen them taking kids for walks & not using the sidewalk, then when cars approach they push them to the curb! I have witnessed daycare workers ignoring kids, yelling at them. I've also seen daycare workers hiding to use their cell phones when they are supposed to be watching the kids. Never, Never take your kids there! Of course they are going to nice when there is a parent around. The State needs to put up hidden cameras!
The other review sounds like angry ranting from a home daycare with a personal issue with the director and no actual experience with By Leaps and Bounds. As a parent who has used By Leaps and Bounds for several years, I have been very happy with them, their staff is well trained and shows an obvious passion for early childhood education and takes personal interest in every child under their care. Wonderful program, wonderful people,couldn't ask for a better second family for my children.
The owner of this company drives around Sauk City and takes photos of kids playing in the front yard of suspected Home Daycare providers. She intentionally keeps the adult supervisors out of frame of the picture, or crops the picture so they are not shown. She then reports this to police to try and get them investigated by the licensing committee. Yes that is correct, she drives around and takes pictures of underage kids without adult consent and files false police reports. DIRTY BUSINESS. Do not give them your hard earned money. Support those in-home daycare's that actually care for your child, not just the paycheck. She has been busted doing this a few times, and was at the local sports bar & grill showing the images off to local bar patrons.
