I have used this provider for more than 6 months

The director of the center has incredibly poor people skills and is extremely rude. I have overheard her speaking negatively about children that attend the center and also their parents. My child had extensive scratches on the legs at pickup one day and when asked for an explanation, not one single worker who interacted with my child that day was able to offer any details on how they were obtained.

I have used this provider for more than 6 months

I went to pick up my children on 5/3/2019 from the New Life Childcare center and found an envelope in my mailbox. Inside was a printed copy of an email between myself and the administrator(my schedule for the next week), a typed letter and a page of the policy relating to schedules. The typed letter stated that due to me turning in my schedule at 12:02PM on 5/2/2019, versus before 12:00PM on that day, that they are not going to be able to provide the full care for my children for the following week of 5/6/2019-5/10/2019. I believe I was offered care for 2of5 days. My children are entitled to 48 hours each, per week, according to the policy that I had signed. I gave my two-week notice on 4/26/2019, that my children would no longer be attending the daycare after 5/10/2019. The policy that the administrator placed in my mailbox CLEARLY states that schedule CHANGES are due every Thursday by NOON. So, if anything, my schedule being two minutes late, should have warranted the same schedule for my kids as the previous week provided-since a change was not sent in on time(2 min. late). This has happened before and she has honored my prior schedule. I have explained to admin., time and time again that I work at a medical clinic and life happens and my son has had a lot going on with appts. and therapy and a surgery. Surgery for myself too. If I ever was late, I would call her immediately and get it to her ASAP. She always understood. I have called, emailed, and even messaged the admin. on facebook and I have not had ONE response. Since leaving, I have been slandered on FB by her and her current and past staff calling me pathetic and a "rude a**" and that no one will be able to work with me if I cannot work with their facility. This(problems) all started after a complaint was made about a year ago, when my son got hurt on cement after falling out of a hard plastic boat that I mentioned in their current violations, and my father and his girlfriend filed a complaint with the state, and things were lied about upon inspection and I received retaliation from admin and staff that I had then addressed with her. Things never were the same since. only giving it a two-star, because the ladies that actually watched my kids were great to work with.
