I had problems with Shelly being verbally abusive to me and the littles in our care. When I would confront her about her behavior she would become verbally abusive and hateful. Glad to see her daycare license was finally revoked.
Both of my daughters went here and we were very satisfied with the care they received. We would recommend Shelly to anyone.
This is the best home daycare experience I have experienced with either one of my 2 children. My son, who is 3 years old, has thrived here in the 8 months he has attended Tinker Tots. Shelly, the owner, pays close attention to each child's individual needs and development. She works with the children on structured preschool activities everyday. Her home is a fun and clean environment that promotes positive play and learning. Very impressed with this home daycare, 5 stars!
I wouldn't put my child in any other facility than this one. The provider is a preschool teacher and a mother herself. My son loves being here and has developed in so many ways, it's hard to list them all. When he started, he was a full year behind from being in a bad in home day care. Now he is beyond flourishing! It breaks your heart as a parent when you have to experience a bad place with your child and makes you relieved when you find a good one! I love the curriculum that she provides, the safety I have in my son being there and complete trust in her abilities as a teacher as well as a mother.

I live in a super clean, cozy, safe four bedroom home in a quiet, mature neighborhood
I provide breakfast, lunch, and two healthy snacks, I am in the Family Service State food program!
I present a variety of fun and creative learning activities daily including art, early literacy, math, dramatic play, movement , music, sensory experiences, science, etc that foster social and emotional development. This takes place in a fun classroom like environment.
I have a topic for the week or month we learn about, along with specific daily activities focused around the learning topic.. this is during the school year.
I follow two professional preschool curriculums and always further invest in my kiddos education and play.
I will help your child reach their individual milestones this includes potty training if needed.
Each child has their own sleep mat, pillow and blanket.
During the Summer months we have a splash day's weekly where the kids can play in the toddler pools, kids sprinkler, or water table!- sledding in the winter.
I have a large fenced in back yard with unlimited toys and stimulating games. We eat many lunches picnic style and grill out every week. (summer time)
I can teach your little one about plants and nature in the spring.
Summer months we do not focus as much on preschool. we believe children need to run, play, explore, and enjoy the warm weather and fun waters of summer as they would when they enter elementary school.
I have turned my entire floor into daycare/preschool. This consists of two play rooms, nap room, classroom / children's dining area. My backyard has also been designated for children only.
