I have used this provider for more than 6 months

This is the most unprofessional establishment ever. The director is VERY rude. The cook is disgusting! I would never recommend someone to send their child there. They underserve the kids for every meal giving them a spoonful of food and when they ask for more they get yelled at by the cook. It's the worse center my child has ever been to. All the good workers are quitting because of being mistreated and they are hiring young girls that doesn't know a thing about childcare. Pay close attention to your children and ask questions when things seem suspicious. Anytime something happened to my child nobody seen anything.  Its just sad.

I'm absolutely pleased with Young Years. My grandaughter has been in their care since she was an infant. The staff knows us, and we trust them to care for our soon to be grandson! We feel safe and loved in their care. My daughter's shift schedule often changes. This center can accommodate her schedule because of their great hours and location. I even have access to peep in on my little one during the day, via PB&J TV. I've never had a problem with this center.

horrible day care

My child, 18 month old, attended Young Years Child Care Center a few months ago. She was there only 5 days. When I picked her up on the fifth day there were suspicious marks on her that scared the heck out of me. No one could explain how she got adult size claw marks on the inside of her upper arm that left scabs for days. The video cameras reveled my child was not in the PbJTV monitoring system when the incident occurred. I had a strong suspicion of mistreatment. Long sorry short, after a THREE month battle with the director, consultant manager, and owner all I got was the run around. The manager assured me my child’s medical expenses would be paid “because that was Louisiana’s law”. The owner agreed to refund me my unused prepayment amount. None of these things every happened. Not even an incident report was filed by the director. I’m disgusted by the lack of concern for the wellbeing of the children at the center and lack of professionalism. All they seem to care about was money. Do your research go with your gut feeling.

My child started younger years at the beginning of may I was never connected to use pbjtv until midway through the month. When I was able to view my child at daycare I was really disturbed. My child was in the same spot for hours. When they changed the babies they didn't use wipes. My baby was unable to sit up yet the provider sat him up and walked off of course my baby fell backwards and hit his head on the floor. You would think after him being there a month she would know simple things about him ie he can't sit up. The next day they had my 6 month old in a crib while they read to all of the other babies on the floor. I then wanted to pUllman my child from the facility and I was told I need to give a two weeks notice and still pay for those weeks. They'look only get it if they take us to court which I highly doubt because I have numerous pictures on my phone that I screen shot.

a child care center that truly cares for children and their families. I would highly recommend this center. Location is great. Staff is highly trained and professional. Owner's own children and grandchildren attended. Hands on as well.
