My child spent 5 years at the CDC. The staff are well-trained, caring and dedicated teachers who went above and beyond to ensure my child was safe and was provided developmentally appropriate instruction. The CDC employs Conscious Disciple, a nationally-recognized social-emotional curriculum which more than prepared my child for Kindergarten. I would recommend the center to any parent looking for a quality program for their child.
Hello I would just like to let everyone know what a wonderful child care center the YMCA CDC is. I am a mother of two boys and we have been attending the YMCA CDC for over 5 years. We love it! They have wonderful caring teachers who are dedicated to the children. As far as management it concerned we love the past and present director. The current director has made wonderful progress with the facility. They are a MO Accredited and Licensed facility that focus on the YMCA values of serving the local families and community. I would recommend this facility to any parent who would like a kind and caring environment that adapts to each child’s individual needs as they did for my family. Thank you YMCA CDC for caring for my children and supporting my family.
I would not recommend this program to anyone! While most of the staff are exceptional, the management is VERY poor! It has gone way down hill in the past few years with many new directors taking over. The one now is very nice to talk to, but actually never listens to a word you say. She tells you what you want to hear and nothing ever changes. I was very pleased with my first child there, but chose to leave quickly after the new director took over and the staff (and many parents)became disgruntled with choices made by management. I would not recommend this daycare to anyone unless management changes.
