I live next to them and some things that I hear come out of these teachers mouth or providers mouth just baffle me. they yell at these kids most of the time and that seems to be all I hear there is no encouragement it sounds like other than yelling it really hurts my heart to see kids get yelled at like this I can understand if it was a safety reason but just to get their attention is uncalled for it's almost sounding like abuse. now I work with kids all day long and if I ever ever talk to the kids like that in my line of work I would lose my job. so what makes them think that it's okay to be little a child that way. children learn by example and we should be teaching them the proper weight and to communicate their feelings and emotions and the way they act yelling at them is not going to make it better in fact it's a been a proven fact yelling at a child doesn't turn on their ears in fact even with human beings it turns their ears off where they can't hear anything it's called Fight or Flight and most people flight when there are getting yelled at. so I will never send my kids to this daycare just because I've observed this over a year time! And people would be stupid to send their kids to these people!

The fact that so many teachers and admins send their kids to lcotp speaks to the high quality education and care provided. My kid was there from birth until K and I'm sad to have to go! It's a blessing to have been a part of the lcotp family.

I would have rated LCOP higher if there had been the opportunity. Our daughter was cared for at LCOP from the time she was 6 months old until she entered kindergarten. I never worried for her health or safety in the care of this facility. We are struggling now to find a facility that can compare as our expectations are very high after leaving Little Church. This by far is the BEST childcare option in this area!

I would love to give them raving reviews, but I can't. To be honest it is a bunch of stuck up, snooty people. If you want your children to grow up to be like that, go ahead and enroll. It doesn't matter if they learn letters if you are teaching them to be mean spirited. Letters can be taught. Being mean spirited is hard to get away from.

I am a teacher myself, so I know a quality program when I see one!  I have toured numerous childcare facilities and NONE compare to Little Church on the Prairie Daycare.  My daughter has been there since only months old and Im saddened by the fact that she will soon graduate from there and enter Kindergarten.  The facility director, Pat Ivy, "runs a tight ship" and I have witnessed many great firsts for my daughter.  Besides the fact that the teachers there are loving and nurturing, my daughter knew all her letters AND sounds before the age of 4!  I receive daily progress reports and weekly pictures and emails sharing all that goes on in my daughters classroom.  I HIGHLY recommend LCOP Daycare for your child!!  You will NOT be disappointed!
