I have used this provider for less than 6 months

I almost never write a review but today I felt the need to share my experience with all the parents out there that are looking for a safe and caring place to leave their kids.
*First of all this is a DAYCARE, not a preschool, they don’t have a curriculum or a philosophy that they follow. The only time hey learn something is during circle time, 15 minutes a day.
*The place has some serious hygiene issues. Last week there were 17 kids infected with the HAND, FOOT and MOUTH VIRUS. Personally I have never heard of a school were so many cases were found.
* There is a huge rotation of teachers. For some obvious reasons teachers constantly resign and it took them 2 weeks to find a substitute for my son’s class. Those 2 weeks only two teachers were in the class and the maximum ratio per teacher was exceeded .
* The director gets involved in the daily routine of the classes( at the beginning I thought it was a good thing because she was on top of her business and she was only making a positive impact on the routines ). My thoughts completely changed the day I found her strongly grabbing my kid by his tiny arm and SCREAMING AT HIM. She wanted him to sit down and listen to a story when all he was doing was quietly playing with a car. When I saw her pulling my kid I run into her and took my child BUT SHE DARED TO TELL ME THAT I COULD NOT INTERVENE WHEN SHE WAS “disciplining him “. This was the end of our relationship and the last day my son attended the school !

The reason I am sharing my experience is because I overlooked a lot of details about this place when making my decision. I made a mistake and focused more on the fact that it was close to my house, not pricey and I was only looking for a place for him to play for a couple of hours and interact with other kids.
PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE YOUR KID IN THIS PLACE. Some of the teachers like to scream A LOT, and since there are so many kids in one class they try to keep them as quiet and seated as possible. The place does not let them to explore, be creative and choose the way they want to learn.

I love this daycare, my daughter attended another school before this one and was always in a bad mood she loves the teachers and i love the fact the school is an open format. As many said above yes me as a parent understand the concern for letting kids attend sick but some parent s do not have a choice and have NO ONE to leave their kids with because they have to go to work. They have holidays off the same as government and what is national holidays.

I absolutely do not recommend this daycare. The teachers are nice but the administration is not good at listening to parents when you voice a cover of complain. This daycare does not follow any policies in regards to sick children. They allow children to go sick. I witness a parent in my son class bring her daughter to the infant room and notifying the teacher her daughter had a fever the night before and she had just given the Tylenol at 7am. I made the director aware that I was not in agreement because I am a nurse and work for Mdcps system and children should be a febrile for 24 hrs without any antipyretics before returning to school/daycare. I also reminded her that my son along with other children had recently gotten over the hand, foot and mouth disease which began with a fever and then a rash. I told her I did not think it was fair for that child to be allowed there with a great amount of green mucus ruNing down her nose. She then told me the child was allowed to be there because at the moment did not have fever but if she did the mother would be called. She also said those were the policies of her daycare. She told me that even after the fact I pointed out it was not fair to expose the other children just for one child who no one knew the fever origin. Needless to say my child no longer attends that daycare.

I made the best decision ever to move my son out of Ready Academy. I told the owner that Friday would be my son's last day. She was like ok. Instead of saying we are closed for Good Friday. Just like every holiday in the book. Thank GOD is on my side & Mikey did not want to wake up & go & his father left him with his mom. But seems like she purposely said that to mess up my day. They are closed for every holiday so if you work for the government forget it they are closed. They don't care for parents helping or participating. Main goal as many kids as possible. Feel bad for the ladies who actually care for the kids very sweet not their fault.
