Our two daughters attended ECYC from a few months old until we recently moved out of state. Nothing compares to this preschool. The outdoor space, the classrooms, the meals from the kitchen - the infrastructure is excellent and upgraded whenever it's appropriate. But the true treasure is the staff. Every year when my daughters moved up to a new level, I was amazed by the talented new teachers I would meet. And as my oldest daughter reached Kindergarten age, our family had grown to include several new honorary grandmas and aunts. There is nothing more important than entrusting your kids to teachers and caregivers who truly treat these children as their own. Also, my daughters having been "going to school" for as along as they can remember. This is not a daycare - this is a learning environment where kids develop their creativity and social skills, and begin to prepare for Kindergarten through writing, science and basic reading lessons. Nancy, the longtime director, is an exceptional administrator but also a very nurturing and kind face who is often right at the door greeting kids with a hug. Definitely check this school out, you'll be amazed.

My daughter joined there after she was bitten, had unhappy face every morning from another daycare.

With time being at ECYC, we could see that her face was getting brighter. Now she is saying 'bye-bye' to me with smile and runs into care-providers of her class every morning.
