please do not take your children here. as someone who went here as a child this place is traumatizing. the 5 star reviews are from kids who go to magic land to cover up all the bad reviews left by children who hated their experience here. the “teachers” aren’t professionally trained and are just college students who needed a way to make money. there’s even this one teacher who screams and cusses children out. he punishes kids by overworking them if they make a small mistake and if you aren’t one of the kids he’s taken a liking to, i’ll pray for you because you’ll be reading and writing essays for the next few months while the other kids get to play right in front of you. and let me tell you this right now. the owner of this place won’t care. she will cover up anything that makes this place unpleasant to the eye and if you bring up a problem to her about the way this daycare is run or the staff members, she will either ignore it or kick your child out. yes i know the price is cheap but do you wonder why it’s so cheap? it’s because the quality of this place is horrible. the food is bought from the 99¢ store next door and the tables and chairs are all old and dirty. they even made us reuse our spoons at one point. this place is unsanitary and has a toxic environment that children should not be exposed to. if you really care for your child, do not take them here. find another place where your child will be properly taken care of.

Worked here for a little over 4 years and let me tell you guys... what you dont see behind the scenes is way worse than you can imagine. The workers could care less about your kids. We are taught to put on a smile and fake it when talking to parents bc they only care about the money. Behind the scenes, the kids are emotionally traumatized by this one certain teacher who has anger issues. He also runs the side who has the 1st-6th graders. They are constantly yelled at and discipline for any little thing. Especially if your child is not his favorite then forget it, theyre not allowed to do anything. Ive seen him bully little kids and even cuss some of them out. LITTLE KIDS. He scares them so much and threatens them they never tell their parents bc they know they have to face him the next day. He has kicked boxes and thrown chairs across the room out of anger in front of all the kids and then wonders why theyre all scared to come to magic land the next day. He has had so much problems with kids here but the owner covers it all up for him (cps and everything she’ll protect him) Its not just him, past workers have also gotten in trouble for putting their hands on kids and the owner keeps it all covered up. All of the 5 star reviews on google are from kids who go to magic land to cover up the bad review from kids who hated it here so much they had to come on here to write a bad review. (He threaten to sue their parents if they didnt take down their bad reviews even though everything they said about this place was true.) He’s an A+ manipulator and liar thats why he’s never been caught bc he knows how to play his cards. There is a hundred more things i can say about this place but it’ll be too much to write. Dont bring your kids here if you care about them. My only regret is waiting this long to speak up about it. (Ive also spoken to and showed other ex employees before posting this and they all agree with me but would like to not speak up so i am writing this for all of us).
