I have used this provider for more than 6 months
How do we say "good bye"?
You know, I think as parents, everything we encounter with our children, is by Faith. God gives us the gift of creating human life and making sure that it flourishes. So everything is a question... "am I doing the right thing?" is one that we all encounter each and every time. But as much research and investigating that we do, it's not 100% guaranteed, nothing is ever set in stone, and you're never REALLY sure of what the outcome is going to be, you just have to have Faith and leave it up to God.
Well, today, on my son's last day of daycare, I thank God that he led me to Young Achievers Learning Center. Mrs. Natalie, Mrs. Gloria, Mrs. Jackie, Mrs. Maria, & the rest of the staff are truly angels in disguise. So, how do I say "goodbye"?!
The care, the love, the support, the encouragement, the second chances, the honesty, the empathy, the sincerety, the generosity, it all boils down to one thing... Passion. Their passion is evident! You hear so many stories of bad things that happen to like kids in daycares, in schools, with babysitters, with family members, etc., and I, thankfully, never had to worry. Some people say, "well, in the end they're getting paid" as if to say that what these women do, is about money. But it's not. They do so much that isn't required of them. And it's not easy to care for 20 2-3year olds. When I sit down to think of everything that they have to deal with, I arrive to the conclusion that they have an over abundance of patience.
But, just how do I say "goodbye"? We're going to pray for them. We're going to pray and ask God to grant them all of the things that I wish for myself, for my husband, and for my children. There's NOTHING that I can say or give that truly shows how appreciative we are or that even COMPARES to what they have done in the past 3 years. These women are our family, and my son was highly favored to have them give him the foundation of a great education and love. So, sadly we will say goodbye, for now, and conclude this chapter. Thank you ladies, we will truly miss you.
