Description: Before and After School Care at the Y is about more than looking after kids. It's about providing a safe and nurturing environment for your children to learn, grow, and develop social skills. We have a unique curriculum from educational and character building resources that will provide children with the knowledge, guidance, and encouragement needed to realize their potential. With 21 locations throughout southern Pinellas County, our program has a long history of helping children grow in spirit, mind and body.
Where possible, ChildcareCenter provides inspection reports as a service to families. This information is deemed reliable, but is not guaranteed. We encourage families to contact the daycare provider directly with any questions or concerns, as the provider may have already addressed some or all issues. Reports can also be verified with your local daycare licensing office.

There's a person by the name of Amber Ann Hawkins/ Hopler that works there currently. I saw her hit her child, curse and swear all kinds of things at him to just get him to be quiet and to just stop crying. She almost threw a Bud Lite beer bottle at him and it scared me to death. Child services have already been called about this abuse but she still has a job here, makes no sense since she's obviously not fit enough to be around kids- even her own son. I wouldn't want my children around this abusive person!
