About the Provider
The school offers a continuum of services for deaf and hard-of-hearing students, including interpreters and co-teaching classrooms where deaf and hard-of-hearing students are educated along with general education students.
All students are exposed to American Sign Language, and classes are offered to students, teachers, parents and the community.
We host a monthly food bank through the Morgan Stanley Healthy Cities Initiative, which gives families and community members a chance to engage with the school.
The school recently won a $100,000 grant from the National Foundation for Governors' Fitness Council for a fitness center that is open to the community.
Willson is a Nationaly Recognized Bronze Metal Healthier Generations school. We are one of 300 healthiest schools in the country.
Willson's preschool program received five stars on the state’s Step Up To Quality system.
