Description: While in my care, your child will enjoy a relaxed atmosphere that allows each child to develop at their own rate. Our focus is learning through fun! A variety of activities are available for the children to explore, as well as a variety of books, puzzles, toys and games, which are changed out periodically to keep interest. Our curriculum is often theme based, including arts and crafts, games, dramatic play, sensory play and more. Sometimes we'll ditch our normal schedule and head out to the park, library or other fun activity instead! We have lots of fun while learning and making friends!

Ms. Laura is a dream of a daycare provider. My child has attended for several months now and we couldn't be happier. The areas the children occupy are always clean and safe. Every corner is full of books, puzzles, and toys. My child often comes home with art projects. It's adorable to see the seasonal themes the children are exploring. Knowing your baby's day is revolving around new interests makes leaving them at daycare a little easier. There is not a strict curriculum or schedule, allowing for a child-based approach that feels very natural and freeing. It means that Ms. Laura is meeting their physical, behavioral, and social needs as they arise throughout the day, rather than at a schedule's convenience. There are 2 helpers, Ms. Laura's daughter and mother. Both are licensed and absolutely adore the children in their care. The backyard is toddler heaven. Age-appropriate climbing, running, playing in dirt, and outdoor games occur almost daily. I imagine my child will be making many happy childhood memories in that backyard. The parent handbook is well-written, and she is always happy to help clarify questions regarding the policies. Every policy is fair and reasonable. Breakfast, lunch, and a snack are provided and she follows USDA nutrition guidelines for all meals and snacks. The closures during the year appear minimal compared to other daycare providers we considered, which means I won't need to request as many days off work during the year. And with 2 helpers, last minute closures are rare; hasn't even happened yet while my child has been there. They also have a really lovable dog, may need to keep this in mind for families with allergies. Her rates are reasonable (especially considering the meals and 'field trips') and she offers convenient payment methods. Hope this helps!
