About the Provider

MHM was incorporated in 1970 to provide affordable, accessible, quality early childhood care and education for children of low-income working parents. Over the past 40 years, the agency’s programs and scope of services have evolved to meet the changing needs of the community and incorporate the most recent knowledge in the field. Today, MHM is Denver’s oldest and largest provider of subsidized early childhood education and care, offering full-day, year-round programs in six centers serving Denver’s most distressed neighborhoods. In addition to the hundreds children served in these centers each year, MHM provides services for several additional thousand children in two drop-in centers for clients doing business with Denver Department of Human Services and the Denver court system.
