During May in Faith Village child will explore the following concepts: -- hear the story of the coming of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost; -- identify how the Holy Spirit empowered the disciples; -- understand that we are empowered by the Holy Spirit; -- define the Holy Spirit as "God with us now"; -- learn that the Holy Spirit can be present in our lives too; -- explore the meaning of "believe"; -- understand why we celebrate Pentecost as the birthday of the church.
