I have toured this provider's facility, but have not used its services
I took a tour at this facility a few weeks ago and while on my tour I witnessed something that should never occur in child care. While on my tour I had passed one of the rooms and watched as a child was grabbed with what appeared to be excessive force. I did not and will not enroll my child in this center. I'll admit it could just of been a misunderstanding but as a parent I did not get good vibe off it.
Firstly I would like to start ff by saying we have used this provider for over 3 years and havent had many complaints until this year. Our child was moved into the 3-4 year old room which was the coldest room. I mean the teacher in that room with over 20 years experience has no interaction with the parents barely even a Hi or Good Morning. We where very concerned with this from the very beginning but certainly a teacher with 20 years experience with kids must be good. But lately we have witnessed a few incidents that have us concerned. from the teacher pushing a pile of mats off the table to yelling at students. To even grabbing a student by the arm and turning them around with force. Until they day that i encountered another parent in the parking lot whom was so happy that she caught me to talk. Explaining that she witnessed the teacher grabbing my childs arm with excessive force. after a lengthy conversation we left there and called the facility and talked to the person in charged. which she informed to us that the incident had been brought to her attention and that it was being handled. With no explanation of how it was being handled. Our other concern was why this wasnt brought to out attention by the facility had we not been approached by the parent we would have known at all.
