Description: Your kids are discovering all kinds of exciting worlds. That’s why in YMCA child care, we carefully design every activity to expand their imaginations and encourage life-long, positive values and natural curiosities. It strengthens kids relationships with you and the people around them, which is the heart of our philosophy…Good Child Care, Good Family Care. The Hanover Area Family YMCA Association is one of the largest Child Care providers in the area. Each day we serve over 500 children between ages 13 months-12 years of age. All of our full-day programs are licensed through the Department of Public Welfare (DPW). We also participate in the Keystone Stars quality early education program. Our Early Learning Center is accredited by NAEYC (National Association for Education of Young Children). The safety and protection of the children we serve are paramount to us. We know parents, guardians and the community-at-large place their trust in the Y to do everything that we can to ensure that the children in our care are safe. While we cannot eliminate all threats, we are committed to minimize them as much as we can. Financial Assistance is made possible through the generous donations of our community to the Annual Support Campaign and by the United Way of York County.
