Description: Worcester Sprouts, Vanessa Weinstein's Registered Family Child Care Home, provides care to children ages 12 months and older. We are located just off a paved road one mile from Worcester Village. Our property offers fenced and unfenced outdoor play spaces, gardens, a section of young forest, as well as a bright and open indoor space. At Worcester Sprouts, the themes of Connection with Nature, Play-Based and Child-Directed Learning, Social-Emotional Development, Community, and Equity are woven into a structured, but flexible day that includes much time outdoors. During outdoor and indoor play and exploration times, children are offered choices in the areas of sensory stimulation, fine and gross motor movement, creative arts, literacy and language, math, science, and social studies. Projects, materials, and toys are always guided by child interests. Worcester Sprouts also strives to support and engage parents and caregivers through strong communication and regular community events.
