About the Provider

Description: Mount Baker Preschool is based on the view that we need to address body, soul, mind, and spirit in all of our teachings. The core of Waldorf education is that human beings bear within themselves capacities for developing freedom of thought, balance in feeling, and conscious purpose in action that will enable them to realize meaning in their lives. We provide preschoolers with a warm, beautiful, loving, home-like environment, which is protective and secure, where the day unfolds in a predictable, regular way. This holistic educational experience addresses their intellectual capacities, stimulates their innate curiosity, and engages them through direct hands-on experience. The children are given a range of activities and the structure they need to prepare for the next phase of school life.

I have toured this provider's facility, but have not used its services

We showed up for a tour and not a single person knew that we were coming. We have an infant and are preparing to start daycare when they are 6 months old. This daycare no longer even provides care for infants if they are not at least 15 months old and walking. Why isn't that information clearly available on their website?
