About the Provider

An independent Waldorf school in Seattle, Washington. Bright Water School offers Preschool through Grade Eight and two Parent and Child classes. Come visit our campus and meet our staff to discover what Bright Water is all about. Waldorf education provides an academic and artistic education that encourages students to develop into balanced and responsible individuals with critical thinking skills, an appreciation for beauty, and compassion for others. Our rigorous academic program challenges students to develop clear, creative thought and expression, and our nurturing social environment and work with practical skills develops students' confidence. Most of all, the close relationships at our school help students develop a strong sense of themselves and an awareness of others. Our students receive much individual attention and guidance. Faculty members work closely with students, helping them to learn academic discipline and responsibility and teaching them to work independently. The social life of our school is lively and warm, and students thrive in a caring community of teachers and peers. The inherent security they experience in a Waldorf school enables students to look to the future with confidence; the bonds they form often last for a life time.
