Description: School Age Child Care (SACC) programs will provide a safe, supportive environment that promotes social interaction, community interaction and encourages a postive self-image for all participants. The SACC programs act in accordance with the Maryland State Child Care Regulations (COMAR) and the NAA Standards for Quality School-Age Care. Activities will include opportunities for individual and group participation, while providing a balance between self-directed and staff-directed activities. There will be a full component of arts and crafts, sports and games, social skills, self-esteem activities, as well as other enrichment opportunities will also compliment the program. In addition, all outdoor facilities will be utilized to augment the regular program.
