There was no "We left running for the hills" response for the question of which best describes our experience. My step-son was at Vickie's facility for almost a year. His behavior while trying to leave him at her day care escalated from crying when I first became a part of his life, to outright heart-breaking clinging to my legs while sobbing and begging not to be left there. As soon as we were able to get him into a new day care, we did. I don't know exactly what happened there as my step-son was 3 at the time and not fully able to articulate his experiences. As he get's older though, he occasionally will say something completely out of the blue like, 'Vickie slapped me' and 'she would lock me up when I was bad'. We have filed a complaint with Community Care Licensing and they are doing an investigation. Look up her license number on their website and you will see the list of complaints that have been filed against her. Hopefully it's only a matter of time before she is shut down as she is a vile woman along with her daughter.
