I have two caring and smart children that have been enrolled in this location since infancy. Marinela has been taking care of my oldest daughter since she was less than a month old and is now 13 years old. She is literally insisting on staying in the program and doesn't want to leave. My family and I are blessed to be part of this child care. Even though I moved further away from the area years ago, I continue to bring my children here because my children and I love Valdez family child care and the staff. I can't speak much about other child care facilities but it seems to me that the staff always go out of their way to make the children happy with constantly improving the location with new toys and fun activities to celebrating the annual Christmas party with all the kids and their families. At the event, Marinela provides plenty of food for everyone, gets all the children presents they asked Santa for, and rents a professional dressed up as Santa Claus to play games with the children and give each child the present they asked for. Together with the extra Christmas decorations and lights, this makes the event my children's and I favorite time of the year. I don't know much about other child care locations but Valdez Family child care has provided my children and I unconditional love and care for the past 13 years.
My child has been going to this daycare since infancy. We haven't seen any issues with the staff nor the establishment. They strictly enforce immunizations and follow prescribed daycare regulations from my understanding. The children seem happy and well taken care of. My little one is excited to go there, it's getting hard to get my kid want to leave when I come for pick up... that says a lot to me.
My son has been coming to this daycare facility for 4 years now and I have NEVER had a problem with them! I'm a single mother and am thankful to have found a place that provides endless love! My son enjoys spending time at the daycare and playing with all his friends! He also learns so much! From counting to the ABCs! He even knows some Spanish now! I also like the fact that my son actually enjoys the food they provide! Overall, I am truly blessed to have found such an amazing facility!
MY CHILD HAS BEEN WITH THIS PROVIDER FOR OVER 3 YEARS AND NOT ONCE HAVE I HAD A PROBLEM WITH THEM. MY CHILD LOVES BEING THERE I WORK LONG HOURS AND THIS IS MY CHILDS SECONDHOME, THEY ARE VERY LOVING AND CARING AND DON'T KNOW WHAT I WOULD DO WITHOUT THEM, AS A SINGLE PARENT I FEEL VERY BLESSED TO HAVE THEM AS A PART OF MY FAMILY.
Are you kidding me ? These people are running a daycare that they have fireworks at and use ? That means they must have illegal fireworks stored there before they shoot them off. That's incredibly dangerous and negligent for a facility that has children there every day. I can't believe this. I would never leave my children at a place that is stupid enough to do such a thing. Not only is it very dangerous for the young pre pre-school children but it's very illegal. Someone should look into this. I may have to make some calls to the people that issue their license. They need to stop this. Yikes !!!!
Made a mistake in my review and stated that I agreed with "Crizzzzzz" and "mari's" reviews. I agree with "Crizzzzzz" and "Rayna's" review and give this place the lowest rating (1 Star). I have to agree with the reviews that Crizzzzzz and mari wrote. I live in the neighborhood and am near this daycare. The people that run the day care seem reasonably nice but there are issues with this place. Everything they write in their reviews is pretty accurate but there are more problems that they did not address. The biggest thing that bothers me though is that they have illegal activities on the premises. They blatantly choose to violate the laws against Fireworks at a residence (and daycare center btw) and on holidays they have parties with very loud illegal fireworks displays. There are neighbors all around in very close proximity and we all feel victimized and violated by their inconsiderate intrusive and dangerous illegal fireworks activities. This is a regular occurrence with no regard to privacy or consideration for neighbors. This is the 5th of July and last night (the 4th) was like a war zone around here for a couple of hours. Unbelievable. I guess they feel that they are exempt from obeying the laws that all the rest of us have to obey. I'm fairly sure that if the DPSS finds out about this issue that they would revoke their license to run a daycare because of illegal activities on the premises. I have discussed this with quite of the other neighbors who are all offended and very upset about their behavior. We may have to "blow the whistle" on these guys if they continue to violate the law. They may run a fairly decent (but not at all outstanding) daycare business but unfortunately there is a lot going on under the surface, and a lot to be desired with this place. It may seem okay at first glance but I would scrutinize this place very carefully before I left a child in their care. They may not be in business much longer anyway as legal action may be taken against them. Maybe if they read this they will understand that they are violating the law and offending annoying and endangering their neighbors and could lose their livelihood.
My daughter has been coming to this daycare for five years now! She loves it! They help her with homework and feed her healthy food. I'm grateful to have found this location, especially since I work long hours.
I want to think this is a decent childcare service. But as a neighbor of this establishment, I can't help but think it must be awful. The residence is loud and they have a poor dog that barks excessively for hours on end at all times of the night. It's annoying on one level, but on another it just makes me sad, as the poor pup is clearly in distress. I recorded the dog in one nonstop 150 minute session and sent it to animal control. The sounds of children playing there make me nothing but happy. But because of their insensitivity to both their neighbors and their dog, living near them is just the worst.
My child has been in this Daycare since he was 3 months. He is now 9 years of age and has great academics and is very discipline. This Day Care Provider is loved by all the parents and community. Its a learning and safe environment. My child is excited every day going to the Daycare. I believe that says a lot. I thank her for giving me the peace in mind I need while I'm at work. Thank You
I love how they take care of my kids. they are nice. My kids tell me they love it there the other kids are nice. I'm glad I found a nice day Care. Thank you for all the love. You give my kids.
This day care center is located in a residential neighborhood however maintains an attitude that they are exempt from being good neighbors. Excessive noise and screaming along with deception about it being from their children is a bad combination. Employees that sit staring at their cellphones when children are playing is bad sign too.
