Tutor Time Child Care Learning Center

Thank you for visiting the Jenison Tutor Time daycare in Jenison, MI! My name is Katy and I am the Director. I hold a bachelor's degree from Michigan State University in Family Community Services with an emphasis on the young child. I have six years of experience as a teacher and manager.

Our school is nationally accredited by NECPA (National Early Childhood Program Accreditation). We received the NECPA award in June 2011 and we continue to meet accreditation standards. The standards that we follow are higher than the State of Michigan's Child Daycare Licensing Standards.

I run our school as if it were my own home. I view all the staff, students, and parents as if they were part of my own family. I love interacting with and really getting to know each family! We have a warm and welcoming environment here and maintain an open-door policy. We hold many events throughout the year for families here in Jenison to get to know one another and to develop strong relationships.

It is rewarding to overhear a child telling their parent what a fun day they had at school and how much they love their teachers. We have an excellent staff that is dedicated to the children and their families. More than half of the staff have been here five years or more and carry qualifications in Early Childhood Education.

We greatly value the relationships we build with each family and offer many opportunities for our families to be involved in our school, whether it's a Parent's Night Out, volunteering for field trips, or helping us raise money for our annual Make-a-Wish fundraiser.
