I have used this provider for less than 6 months

I worked here part time, and I for sure HATER it here. If I had a child enrolled here I would’ve pulled my child out so fast. I was NEVER trained on any room. I wasn’t told where an important documents were, like allergy form, incident reports, sick papers, nothing. A specific teacher was falling asleep in the classroom, on her phone the whole time, and hated the idea of having to care for these kids. All she did was complain, and she even made fun of some of them, calling the “special” or ugly. She would bring things up to the director about me, that were not even true. And then when I tried and explained my side, she didn’t believe me. I have reported this center to the state now three times, and they didn’t fire anyone. They also don’t practice safe sleep.

I have used this provider for more than 6 months

I have many issues with how my experience went while my son was enrolled at FELC for 8ish months. However I feel the only objectively fair complaint to leave here is the large gap in or lack thereof communication that we received from the facility regarding our sons behavior. Every time we picked him up we would ask how his day was or how he was doing, I would even press for more info and we were always told things like “he is doing great” “today was fine” “he wouldn’t nap today” etc. never were we told by anyone “he struggling with this...” “can you come in and chat About his behavior and what what we can possibly do together to try to fix this” my son has special needs and I understood that he was having trouble potty training. However no facility should ever just blindside a family by removing their child from daycare without any type of clear warning as to why. and that is what FELC did to us. We had no idea about any issues aside from the potty training and all of the sudden we were told to find a new daycare.

The teachers here are very sweet. The administration could use some work. I am however, very glad that we were pushed out of this facility bc it allowed us to find another facility that adores my son, understands his needs, cares and actually communicates pleasantly and effectively to us.

The only reason this review has 3 stars instead of 1 or 2 is because of how much my son loved his teachers at FELC they were very kind and sweet to him and he still asks if he can see them sometimes which hurts my heart.
