Trinity Preschool - an outreach ministry of the Chesapeake City United Methodist Charge - has built a positive reputation in Chesapeake City and it's surrounding communities through a nurturing, loving and educational program that encourages our students to be successful in their formal educational years.
Identity: We are a 3-day Program for 3- & 4-Year Old Children. Our hours of operation are: Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday from 9 - 11:45 a.m.
Purpose: Our purpose is to provide a nourishing environment for each child, giving attention to their social, intellectual, spiritual, emotional and physical development.
Curriculum Goals: It is our goal to provide a curriculum in alignment with the pre-Kindergarten program of Cecil County Public Schools. Our students are exposed to structured centers enhancing emergent literacy skills (reading & writing), math concepts as well as fine motor skills. The students are provided with opportunities to choose their task within the classroom, but will also be expected to sit, and are encouraged to participate in teacher-led activities appropriate for their age level. The children will have the opportunity to develop large motor skills during outdoor play. The curriculum also includes Christian values of loving one another, being kind to everyone, being honest and responsible for ourselves.
Potty-training: All students must be potty-trained prior to attending Trinity Preschool.
Admissions: We use Rolling Admissions.
