Tree City Preschool

We offer classes for children ages three or young four, and classes for children ages four or young five. Please use the links on this page to find out more information about our activities. Tree City Preschool was first opened in the fall of 1967 to provide three, four, and five year old children in the community quality educational experiences to benefit them in their emotional, intellectual, physical, spiritual, and social development. The Preschool is a ministry of the United Methodist Church of Kent and is licensed by the State of Ohio under the Department of Job and Family Services. All teachers hold a minimum of a B.A. or B.S. degree and maintain a teacher/student ratio well below the state requirements. Our facility is handicapped accessible and includes a fenced playground and a full-size gymnasium.  Children may enter the three-year-old program if they are three years old by September 1 of that school year, or by special permission. Children may enter the four-year-old program if they are four years old by September 1 of that school year, or by special permission. All children must be toilet trained before entering school.
