Thank you for your interest in The Ratner School. Ratner is comprised of a Montessori program (both Toddler sections and 3-6 year old sections) and a Day School for boys and girls in grades 1-8. Our tag line, "where each child thrives," really captures the essence of who we are - and what guides us in our work with children. We know that each child is unique. In fact, we count on that! Everything we do assumes that each child is slightly different from his/her peers - that each child's educational journey will be slightly different (or perhaps very different) than that of her/his classmates. At Ratner, each child is able to shine and grow in his/her own way. This makes Ratner more of a mosaic than a photograph - more of a kaleidoscope than a microscope. It will only take a few minutes in our halls for you to see what I mean and to sense the vitality and warm sense of community that permeates our school. If you are looking for a school for your son or daughter, I hope you will come and visit. And when you do, please stop by my office and say hello!
