I absolutely LOVE Circle of Love. We've been here as a family (my daughter and two sons) for 5 years and have yet to experience any problems. Mrs. Kirah and the staff are always on top of things Very professional . I refuse to send my babies to anyone else.
It was okay at first. Kira Knox seemed really nice and assured me she cared for the kids like they were her own. My son attended this daycare for a total of 7 months. Long story short, they had sent home a flier regarding scabies in April (one of the kids that attended the center had it). 2 months after that (June), my son had a rash and I took him to the doctor. I immediately called to let Kira know that his diagnosis was scabies. No one else in our household got it I thought surely she would let the other parents know, right? My son didn't go back to the daycare the whole month of July because he went on vacation. In September, he AGAIN was diagnosed with scabies; again NO ONE ELSE IN MY HOME HAD SCABIES; the only common denominator was daycare. I AGAIN called to let Kira Knox know about this, and she requested to see my son's medical records.First of all, its illegal for her to look at those (HIPAA laws), and secondly, why is she asking to see it? I ended up speaking to another parent from the daycare who informed me that she was only notified of a scabies outbreak ONE TIME. I aslo spoke to a worker who was unaware that my son had EVER had scabies while attending, and SHE WAS HIS TEACHER! That means Kira neglected to tell the other parents and her employees when my child had scabies. I'm guessing she didn't want her center to seem "dirty". People are the carriers of scabies, they don't live more then 48hr off of the human body.
Needless to say, after I found out that the director wasn't protecting the other kids or her employees, allowing scabies to be passed around the center, and I pulled my son out. I also called DHS and the health department to let them know that she was neglecting to let parents know of the scabies cases that were occurring in her center.
BEWARE. After leaving and putting my son in another daycare, I ran into a parent who used to use The Circle of Love and pulled her child because of the lack of structure and supervision being provided there. If'd I'd only known then what I know now...
