My child has been at LMP since she was 18 months old. We love this place. She has blossomed and made sweet friends. We will miss LMP when she starts school next fall!
I could not ask for more caring, loving, truly good people to take care of my son. I was so nervous going back to work, but they treat my family with such respect which comfortated me greatly in this new adventure! My son is so happy there. He had trouble taking a bottle, but they worked with him and were the ones to successfully start bottle feeding him. They were able to get him on a great nap schedule, making it easier for me at home. Now he is in the older infant class and has learned so much from his teachers and classmates. This is such a wonderful daycare and I couldn't be happier.
First of all, the cost on this has risen. Nursery is $240, Infants $220, Toddler $200 and Pre-K $180.
This place used to be amazing! They had an amazing director who was really involved, really involved the parents and knew everything that was going on with the kids. Sadly she left, and all the organization and information to parents went out the window. Which is really upsetting because this place is not on the cheap end of the scale. We no longer are told what our children are learning (used to get weekly emails), no longer emailed their lunch schedule for the next week, any information is put up on a bulletin board which is in a congested entrance so it's hard to stay updated and on top of that the teachers are never even told what's going on!!!! I have had to tell multiple teachers multiple times what the heck they are supposed to be doing.
There is a lack of positive management since the director left. The owner is half involved and the assistant director is also a teacher and is also half involved. You can tell the teacher morale is dwindling because I just don't think management cares. The turnover rate is pretty high, and good luck getting introduced to new teachers and being informed that new ones are being hired. I love dropping my kid off to new strangers.
What I came into was fabulous...what I am being offered now is very subpar. Its' upsetting to see the potential this place had is being thrown away because the owner didn't want to take the time to hire another director...even though she raised our prices for who knows what!
Do not recommend. My child started little magnolia completely potty trained and as a happy, friendly kid, in two months we regressed to diapers and aggressive behavior. Don't let them trick you. They are not what they seem to be at the interview.
I couldn't ask for better people to leave my son with. He has been there since he was 4 months and is now 14 months, so he has been in 2 different classes. The teachers are so good at texting me funny pictures or stories about him and also letting me know if an accident happened. They are also really great at introducing new things (like sippy cups) when I want them to and update me on his progress there. I can tell he learns so much with them and it's a huge sigh of relief everytime I walk in with him and he's smiling at them ready to play!
I just recently removed my child from this center. They were pretty great at first but things slowly started to go down hill with the way they treated not only my child, but me too. I'm not speaking of everyone in the center, only of the teachers that dealt with my child directly. I would not recommend.
This facility has its pros and cons just like any daycare. I absolutely love my child's preschool teachers! They are so loving and caring! Everyday they come home they have learned so much! The director Kathy is amazing and very involved.
The staff here truly loves my 6 month old. She has been attending this center since she was 9 weeks old. It is a blessing to leave her here all day and know that she is being taken of. Her teachers recognize her developmental milestones without my husband and I saying anything because they are really invested in her day to day. Kathy, the director, seems very knowledgeable. I feel like a lot of good things have been put in place since she has been there. The owner is there often, and she is very friendly. Additionally, much of the staff knows my daughter's name - not just the two teachers in her classroom. We looked at several places before deciding on this one, and I couldn't be happier.
I feel so lucky to have found a place with wonderful, loving, compassionate staff. It is hard to leave your little one with anyone during the day, yet from the moment I walked into Little Magnolia I felt at ease. My son loves the play school and is thriving. The owner and staff make you feel involved , are understanding and supportive of questions/concerns etc. that moms have about their children. I love the pictures sent and the activities. There are also regular news letters too. The place is wonderful. I highly recommend it.
Owner is rude. Staff is under qualified for the price. Don't send kids here.
My toddler goes to Little Magnolia Playschool and we absolutely love it! The owner is very involved and its obvious that she loves the children. I love that she texts and sends pictures throughout the day of my little one. The food is also healthy and freshly made so I know my girl is getting fed properly. The teachers are mostly new, hired recently, and they are all certified. I know the toddler teacher is certified and she is so great with my girl. The facility is new, well old but all recently renovated so its all new on the inside. The feeling of Little Magnolia is wonderful because you walk in and instantly feel like you are part of the family. I love Little Magnolia and everything they are about!
The director mentioned above no longer works at the center because of the above mentioned comments. My child goes to Little Magnolia and her teacher is licensed and amazing! We love all the staff and trust them completely. Wonderful things are happening at Little Magnolia!
The owner is personable and you can tell she loves the children and has a great idea in mind for her center. Recently remodeled - very nice building and facilities; however...
The director is rude and disrespectful to both the staff and parents frequently. It makes one wonder how she treats the children when parents aren't present. The director and the staff both require additional training and/or education to justify the recent and substantial increase in fees.
With some changes it could truly be a great facility.
