About the Provider

Description: Since the founding of The Children’s Centre in 1975, it has been our mission to offer exceptional care for the children in our community. Our aim is to provide a warm, happy, nurturing, and educationally rich setting for your child. In the classroom environment, we strive to help each child reach his/her greatest personal growth. Our philosophy of learning through play is designed to fulfill the social, cognitive, and physical needs of the whole child. This philosophy is endorsed by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). Our alternately active, quiet and fun filled days provide the proper setting for early cognitive development.

We believe parental involvement is a crucial element of a successful early childhood program. Our teachers establish channels of communication with parents in order to best accommodate their child’s needs and to foster smooth transitions between home and The Children’s Centre.
