About the Provider
The After School Program is an educationally enhancing extra curricular activity program. We strive to provide fun, exciting, and creative after school activities that are developmentally appropriate for children K-5.
We build our program around a monthly calendar theme based on each continent and schedule daily art, crafts, games, etc. that tie into the featured continent. We also include in our program music appreciation, drama and cultural exploration. We include in our daily schedule a 15 to 20 minute homework or reading time. Along with our daily scheduled activities the children have the opportunity to choose from a variety of activity bins that we set up on rugs and tables. The children also have daily time for active play choices outside or in the gym.
Our staff is a devoted group of moms and young adults that love helping and working with kids. Our staff is well trained in the latest child care practices. We strive to receive our yearly training on a variety of subjects, ranging from behavioral issues to how to plan fun games and activities for school age children.
The priorities of the After School Club are designed with you and your children’s best interests at heart. Please feel free to come in and visit us anytime and observe for yourself our quality program.
