Description: Busy Bees Preschool opened in September 2007 by Tammy Stapley. Tammy has worked in early childhood education for over 21 years and is passionate about providing young children with a positive introduction to school and to make sure every day is full of fun and smiles! Located upstairs, inside Our Redeemer Lutheran Church is the perfect set up for Busy Bees Preschool. To enter the preschool areas uspstairs parents have a code to punch in to enter. Visitors can ring a bell and enter when a staff member lets him/her inside. We are currently running two classrooms (3-4 yr olds and 4-5 yr olds). There are bathrooms suited for preschoolers and a water fountain for their use. Busy Bees has a wonderful fenced playground that provides opportunities for running, jumping, climbing, swinging, sliding, and sand play. On rainy days the children can play and run inside the social hall where they are provided with balls, hoops, tunnels, parachutes, and other games.
The staff members at Busy Bees Preschool are chosen on the basis of their personal and professional qualifications. Each staff member is CPR/first aide qualified, has a background check with the Department of Oregon, and is encouraged to continue education in the Early Childhood Education (ECD) field.
