My son has been attending The Learning Academy since he was 3 months old, he just turned two. The staff has always been so great to my little boy and I feel so comfortable that he is in good hands with them. He barely even tells me bye in the mornings and just runs straight to his classroom. Mrs. Shaw and her staff have been so great to him and us. If I ever have a question she will answer it and I feel comfortable bringing any issues to their attention. Communication is so important on both ends and while I do feel it took some time for me to develop a good flow of communication, I feel great about it now. Mr. & Mrs. Shaw and the staff do a great job and care about their babies <3
This has been the worst experience by far at The Learning Academy! The director, Mrs Shaw is very condescending, unprofessional, and not engaged at all with parents. I have never felt comfortable speaking with her about an issue or concern as she would always brush them off. I would not recommend this daycare to anyone. Totally different person from the time of enrollment to the time of my child’s departure. We were given three different dates that would be his last day that did not abide by the contract as we gave gave proper 2-week notice. Very confusing situation that had absolutely no order. I have learned many things from this experience and will now know what to look for when enrolling my child in a daycare. The faculty seemed to be nice and welcoming to my child but overall did not feel comfortable with him there because of the experience with the director which is why we decided to unenroll him.
