Children were not adequately supervised at all times. Two staff members reported seeing Ms. Kris, a teacher working in the early preschool classroom using her cell phone during the month of January. In one instance, a floating staff member, who was present on the playground with Ms. Kris, stated she witnessed Ms. Kris scrolling through her cell phone while supervising the children. The second occasion was when Ms. Emery was telephoned by a parent, who was watching the live footage of her child's classroom, and saw Ms. Kris using her cell phone. | |||

A safe indoor and outdoor environment was not provided for the children. Tree roots on all playgrounds need to be spray painted to avoid tripping. Grass is overgrown on all playgrounds and must be cut to avoid possible hazards. Part of the wood border on large playground is deteriorating and must be replaced. Also, due to the deteriorating wood border, exposed nails were observed that could be a safety hazard for children. A significant amount of pears on the large playgound are falling from the tree and could be a tripping hazard for the children. | |||
