The sponsor, sponsor representative, director, or any staff member shall verbally notify the State Central Registry Hotline (1-877 NJ ABUSE/1-877-652-2873) immediately whenever there is reasonable cause to believe that a child has been subjected to abuse or neglect by a staff member, or any other adult, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 9:6-8.9, 8.10, 8.13 and 8.14.

Violation Observed: Per the Updated COVID-19 standard - Child Care Centers, the center is to screed prior to entry all staff and children. At the time of the inspection the staff did not screen the staff or children that entered the building. The center is to provide OOl with a Plan of Action.

The children shall be supervised directly by a staff member at all times, including during outdoor activities, rest and sleep, and walking through hallways. Toileting procedures shall be supervised by a staff member as appropriate for the ages and developmental needs of the children.

Violation Observed: Ensure that adequate supervision is maintained at all times throughout the center. At the time of the inspection the teacher in room B left her room and answered the door in room A leaving the children unsupervised in room B. Technical assistance was given however the teacher had to be told multiple times to not leave the room.

For early childhood programs, the following shall apply: in addition to the items specified in N.J.A.C. 3A:52-7.7(a)3, the following equipment items or surfaces shall be washed and disinfected after each use, toilet training chairs and potty seats that have first been emptied into a toilet.

Violation Observed: Ensure that the center washes and disinfects toilet training chairs and potty seats after each use. At the time of the inspection there was a potty seat on the floor in the bathroom and 2 potty seats on the floor in the classroom.
