My experience with Ana at Sugars day car was terrible. My 4 year old Son was in the daycare for about 5 months. My Son only speaks english and he was left with the Mother a lot and she only speaks spanish. If my Son needed something how would she know what he was saying. Another issue i had was that my son would be around a couple older kids. Like 10-14 years of age. One of them being Anas daughter Amya. Shes a teenager and she should not be in the day care hanging out with little kids. I saw her have a panic attack and start huffing and puffing at me like she was gonna hit me. Her other daughter Zoe also has a tablet in class and watches stuff that little kids shouldn't watch. My sons new daycare the kids are not allowed to have tablets or phones. The daycare is also in a tiny squished in basement. The biggest issue was the fact that Ana is not monitoring what the kids watch. My son came home and kept doing this sexual dance while saying Dame tu Cosita. I asked Ana what that meant. And she showed me a Reggaeton video and told me dame tu Cosita is a song and meant give me everything. Well come to find out that’s the furthest from the truth. When I went home and watched the video, I couldn’t believe what I was seeing and hearing. There are girls and guys doing sexual moans in the background of the song while the whole song is about a guy telling a girl to give me her thingy. Very sexual. Dame Tu Cosita means give me your little thingy. When I brought this fact up to Ana, she got argumentative, denied it, told me it did not mean that and fought with me until she expelled my kid out of the daycare. It was such a horrible experience and only if she knew that the only person she was hurting was my son because he had a lot of friends there. She also had a lot of different family members and friends coming and going around my child. Well things happen for a reason. My Son leaving that daycare was the best thing for him. I have him in an amazing Dominican daycare and they completely agree with me that that video and song is very inappropriate for a child to watch. Do not bring your child to Sugars day care in Baldwin. They do not listen to the parents concerns and obviously do not monitor what these kids watch. I would not recommend this daycare when there are so many more that are better for the same price.
