Located at the border of Martinez and Pleasant Hill, Story Garden Preschool and Childcare is founded on the belief that children are hands-on learners who learn through the context of meaningful relationships. We provide full-day care for children ages 2 to 5 years from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm Monday through Friday. With a focus on nature connection, imaginative play, and social-emotional growth, we aim to prepare children for their next stage in life while also keeping the joy and magic in childhood.
Our director and teacher, Melissa, has a degree in child development, over 10 years of teaching experience, and a credential in Parent Education. She has taught in various preschool centers throughout the Bay Area and also currently teaches parenting and anger management classes for MDUSD.
