Stepping Stone Children's Academy has many good teachers and staff, however the owners of this business do not know how to manage a business and provide customer service to their parents. There is cronic child to teacher ratio problem, improper punishment methods and they single out children and then treat them unfairly. If there is a problem that comes up and you voice your opinion and push for it to be changed you are then on the schools problem parent list and are basically pushed out. They have taken tuition increases and initiated a supply fee every year over they past three years during this poor economy, while also taking more holidays off than many other preschools. Teacher as paid for a specific holiday but not paided for all the additional days the school is closed around they holiday. I beileve that if I am paying tuition for my child to be there everyday even when they are closed that they should also extend the pay to the teachers on the days that they are closed. Due to the loss of many family's the school is now taking on younger children and making the age ranges in the rooms younger which makes it hard for the teachers to teach the children and it not just be a daycare. If you would have asked me a year ago, I would have told you it was one of the best school in the Bentonville/Rogers area, however with management changes and inability to manage properly I would not put my child in this facility.
