Description: Stanford Montessori, one of Nashville’s two public Montessori schools, is nestled in a quiet neighborhood in Donelson. We have two neighboring churches on our street, and just a few blocks away are restaurants, gas stations, grocery stores, and a shopping center. This wonderful neighborhood is a great place for a special school to exist. Even though students come from all over the McGavock cluster, our community claims us as their own. For the past three years we have been designated a Highly Effective School by Education-Consumers Foundation. Because of our achievement and growth scores, we placed first in Middle Tennessee. We have a highly dedicated staff and committed parents. We believe this combination has been the reason for our sustained success. Our students begin at age three and continue through fourth grade. Great relationships are formed between teachers and families since students stay with the same teacher for three years. We’re glad you’re viewing our page.
