About the Provider
Welcome to St. Mark's Day School and our website. We are so proud of the school and this is one way that we can share information about who we are and what makes us tick! Below you see links that will take you to some important information about the school. We trust that the information provided in these links will influence you to make us the school of choice for your children's educational and spiritual needs.
The school history will detail the WHY, WHEN and HOW we were founded. We have a rich and deep connection to the community of the parish church and we pride ourselves on this connection. The parish community saw a need for a school and generously gathered the funds to bring St. Mark's Day School to life. Check this link for more information about the history of the school.
One of the links give you to a short introduction to the Episcopal Church. The Church of Saint Mark is the founding community of the school and we are connected in spirit and faith to the parish community. Not all of us in the learning community are members of the parish, indeed, not all of us are Episcopalians, but we all are respectful members of the faith community of the school. We pray as a community both in the morning at arrival and the evening at dismissal. We hold one another in faith before God who is the teacher of all. Respect is the keystone of this community and no matter our beliefs, whether we pray in silence or silently stand, we are always respectful of one another and our beliefs. We will share our school with people of all faiths. Look more deeply into the prayer life of the school. Visit us on campus, and meet our Chaplain. Come to the parish for Sunday Mass where you will find a vibrant community of faith. All are welcome and all will be received in respect.
