Description: The United Lubavitcher Yeshiva was established over one hundred years ago in the city of Lubavitch, by the Rebbe Rashab. Seventy years ago the Friediker Rebbe landed on the shores of America. Addressing the thousands of Jews that came to greet him at the water front, he declared, "America iz nit anderish -America is not different than pre-war Europe. Just as Judaism has flourished in Russia , Poland , Hungary, and the like, it will flourish in America." In the Rebbe’s pursuit of proving America is not different, he began Lubavitcher Yeshiva in Brooklyn. From just 10 original bochurim Yeshivas Tomchei Temimim has flourished and educated thousands of Talmidim. The United Lubavitcher Yeshiva’s primary goal is to establish a foundation for learning in a warm and nurturing yiddishe environment. The Yeshiva concentrates on creating a child friendly environment that addresses individual development. By encouraging each child individually, each child feels nurtured through his own experience and level. These talmidim take what they learn through preschool, elementary and premesivta with them for years to come. The foundation that is laid down in the early years becomes an integral part of the rest of a child’s life. The partnership our Yeshiva builds with our parent body is a crucial investment in klal yisroel. The Rebbe Menachem Mendel Schneerson, asserted that the impact of studying in Tomchei Temimim is everlasting:
"Anyone who once learned in Tomchei Temimim remains a Tamim, a student of Tomchei Temimim, forever."
