About the Provider

Description: St. Elijah Mom’s Day Out, a Ministry of St. Elijah Antiochian Orthodox Christian Church, nurtures and challenges children in body, mind and spirit, laying a foundation for lifelong learning and Christian faith. St. Elijah provides a unique approach to learning that encompasses all aspects of the child: mind, body and soul. Our teachers use the Montessori approach in directed individual and group learning times. St. Elijah has also adopted the High Reach Learning curriculum which is a research based curriculum designed for infants through Kindergarten. High Reach Learning curriculum covers all areas of learning, including language development, reasoning, problem solving and much more! Our program provides cognitive, motor and sensory activities designed to appeal specifically to the interests and abilities of toddlers while developmentally appropriate language, social, and practical – life activities are offered to our older classrooms.
