St. Ann School has been serving families in East Harlem since 1926. We call ourselves The Personal School because we know every student individually, and give each child the type of instruction they need to fulfill their potential both academically and spiritually.
We use technology and small group settings to teach every student in a customized way. The core academic subjects are complimented by fine arts, performing arts, music, athletics, language, student leadership, and a wide range of after-school programs to allow each child to discover their individual talents and purpose.
St. Ann is a model school for the Archdiocese of New York and receives enhanced technological support and faculty training.

St. Ann School Early Childhood Program is an important part of our PreK3 - Grade 8 school community.
PreK3
We offer a full day PreK3 program. The PreK3 school day runs from 8am - 2.30pm, and there is a seperate after school program from 2.30-6pm. Students must be 3 years old by December 31 2016 to enroll in the 2016-17 school year. Registration is open now. We accept online registrations. UPK
We have two 18-seat Universal PreKindergarten classrooms. UPK runs from 8am-2.30pm, and there is a seperate after school program from 2.30-6pm. Students must be 4 years old by December 31 2016 to enroll in the 2016-17 school year. UPK has no tuition. You can visit the NYC Dept of Education UPK website for more information on applying to UPK (St. Ann is listed under District 4 in Manhattan). Kindergarten
We have one Kindergarten classroom with a full time teacher and aid. Kindergarten runs from 8am-4pm. We offer early dropoff at 7.15am. We have an after school program from 4-6pm.
